Hilary's Greengrocers began more than 40 years ago (est. 1978) as a fruit & vegetable shop in Mill Road Cambridge, this shop still remains a thriving family run business today. 10 years later the family decided, due to demand, to expand into the wholesale side of the business, and today supplies a large portion of  Colleges, Schools, restaurants, pubs and shops in and around Cambridge.

Many times in the past we have been asked 'Why don't you deliver to local houses?  As the wholesale business was in its infancy we felt we should master one service before rushing into another. Customer satisfaction is paramount to all at Hilary’s which is why we now feel that we are in the ideal position to offer a reliable and competitive service to our local community. Where possible we make sure all our boxes contain no plastic wrapping over the fruit/veg/salad products. Some products arrive in wrapping and have sell by dates on which we must pass onto our customers for health reasons.

Fresh in a Box is just what it says - fresh, good quality fruit and vegetables delivered in a box, direct to your doorstep, at wholesale prices. We deliver within the city of Cambridge - currently only to postcodes CB1, CB2, CB3, CB4 & CB5. we do Not deliver to CB21,22,23,24,25 postcodes
